SAFETY GUIDANCE

Before You Enter The Water

For a safer and more enjoyable experience, we always recommend:

✓ Using fins whenever possible. They allow you to move effortlessly, cover more distance and protect fragile seabeds from accidental contact.

✓ Using a visibility buoy, especially when swimming away from the shore. Boat traffic is common around Ibiza, particularly during summer, and being visible greatly increases your safety.

✓ Respecting marine life and Posidonia seagrass. Observe, but never touch or remove anything from the sea.

OUR best places for snorkel

Cala San Vicente

Easy • Rich Marine Life • Posidonia Meadows

One of the best spots on the island for beginners.

The left side of the bay combines extensive Posidonia meadows with sandy seabeds, creating the perfect habitat for a surprising variety of marine life. Octopus, cuttlefish, sea bream and many other species can often be seen in shallow water.

The calm conditions and easy access make it an excellent place to spend hours exploring.

Cala Xarraca

Easy • Diverse Marine Life • Crystal Waters

A favorite among local snorkelers.

The central area of the cove offers a beautiful mix of sand and Posidonia meadows where marine life thrives. Rays are regularly spotted here, together with octopus, cuttlefish and large schools of fish.

The water is usually very clear, making it ideal for underwater observation and photography.

Cala Comte

Easy • Exceptional Visibility • Turquoise Waters

Known worldwide for its spectacular colors above the surface, Cala Comte is equally impressive underwater.

Its crystal-clear waters provide some of the best visibility on the island, allowing snorkelers to enjoy the rocky formations and marine life with remarkable clarity.

A perfect location for relaxed exploration and unforgettable views.

Ses Salines

Easy to Moderate • Sandy Bottoms • Expansive Waters

At first glance, Ses Salines may seem like a simple sandy beach.
